vlog episode 2 preview

Working mad hard on the video for tomorrow’s CMTV weekly. Other then this morning’s awesome post on the Effendy sisters, the video is all I’ve been working on today. It’s not like top notch but I know I’ll improve and each episode will get better!! Thank you for all your encouraging comments and useful feedback. Suffering from shoulder ache and tongue-tiedness (if there’s such a thing) now.Tomorrow, it’s up early shoot a little bit more, publish and I’ve got to head out for appointments! So I guess it’s goodnite for now (: Check back tomorrow for the video, fingers crossed that there’ll be no uploading problems.

first day at work

Today is my first official day of work I’ve finished all obligations and my monday starts off at 8am with coffee where I looked through and finalized my assignment given by fashionation and posted an article about the Zouk Flea Market where I scored a gorgeous H&M blazer for $35. Pulled on plain tee and denim cut offs, loaded my top shop tote and headed off to tampines to meet stephie. We had this really cheap breakfast at Kopitiam which reminds me of the times I’m in SMU (aww…miss my pals) and discussed upcoming projects, tasks and exchanged ideas. It started raining in the afternoon and I indulged in the cool breeze watching CSI:NY and slurping mushroom soup with eggs and anchovies for lunch plus an apple – which strangely made me too full.

After lunch, I headed down to Cityhall MRT to meet Aeiyra (my model) and realized I left my handphone at home. Where’s a payphone when you need one, argh the pain and the trouble!! Waited for her at Starbucks over a green tea latte trying to wake myself up from a snooze on the train and calm myself down from the anxiety of forgetting one’s phone. Aeiyra arrived looking rocker chic with cuffs, a tee shirt and killer boots. Together we lugged the tote and garment bag full of clothes from ModishWardrobe to the Singapore Arts Museum (SAM) to shoot the advertorial for Cherry Magazine.

After the successful shoot I must say (I prayed alot cos of the weather…thank you God!), we headed back to Raffles City Shopping Centre. Aeiyra satisfied her cravings for fried chicken from Chippy and I cooled down with a Pomegranate & Dragon fruit frozen yogurt and we chatted about the most fashion-unrelated topic – Play Station Portables, Final Fantasy and Harvest Moon (where you grow your own garden, very relaxing!). Night time and it’s back to editing the pictures that we shot today — All in a day’s work. Good night my fair people of the fashion kingdom
